By letter dated November 3, 1989, Louisiana Power and Light Company applied for an amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-38. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to operability requirements for the main feedwater isolation valves, main feedwater control valves, and feedwater regulating bypass. valves.

Subsequently, by letter dated December 9, 1992, Entergy Operations, Inc.,

withdrew the amendment request.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of ~the Federal Register for publication.
