Scope: This special inspection was conducted to review the circumstances !

surrounding a security event reported by the licensee on April 2,1987, and to

ruview the Ifcensee's investigation of an allegation concerning the control of

Safeguards Information.

Results: The security event was determined to involve a violation of vital area

barrier requirements. The licensee's investigation identified a failure to

properly store Safeguards Information.
