. DOCKET 50-312 RANCHO SECO NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION UNIT #1 PROPOSED AMENDMENT 147, REVISION 2, SUPPLEMENT 1, " ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TECHNICAL

. SPECIFICATIONS"

Dear Mr. Miraglia:

This letter provides supplemental information concerning our previous submittal of Proposed Amendment 147 which accounts' for our new electrical system configuration.-

This improvement to Proposed Amendment 147 reflects:

a more restrictive Limiting Condition of Operation (LCO) for Diesel Generators to be out-of-service. (See Attachment 1) a clarification that only multiple nuclear service bus inoperabilities in more than one train cause a one-hour LC0 for reactor shutdown. (See I Attachment 2)

. fire protection features in full conformance with relevant National Fire Protection Code Standards. (See Attachment 3) j 1

- a revision to the 4160V under-voltage relay surveillance. (See i Attachment 4) )

a revised reference to diesel generator fuel oil sampling standards. (See Attachment 5) I l

l' -

several specifications restructured to conform with Proposed Amendment 1 64. (Incorporated in all of the attachments)

The attachments provide a detailed discussion for each of the above changes.
