was in progress when the trip occurred .
The trip was caused by the'MST; however, the extene that equipment versus personnel played is still under investipation by a recently organized trip reduction review committee.
0102 860121 F 19.73 B 3 En Et, ECON Reactor tripped due to a instrument bus spike while troubleshooting LT-460 .
Instrument bus spike caused "B" S/G feedwater reg. valve to switch modes of operation. Transient caused S/G to swell resulting in a S/G high level trip.
Personnel involved have been counseled regarding appropriate precautions when performing work of this nature.

1A INSTRll Personnel were adjusting the NI Power 0103 650122 F 7.50 H 3 Range setpoints when 2 of 4 channels were mistakenly placed in the trip position resulting in a re;ictor trip.
Personnel have been counseled regard-ing this event. Additionally, this event is being reviewed by a special trip reduction review committee to determine contributory causes and to identify additional corrective action to prevent recurrence.
86.68 A 3 EA ELECON Reactor tripped due to blown under 0104 860128 F voltage fuse on Emergency Bus No. 2.
Cause for the fuse failure is unknown.
The fuse was replaced. The Plant went into a planned refueling outage ou 2/1/86 where additional evaluation of this event will occur.
