. i 0401 850406 S --- B 2 ZZ TURBIN Unit load reduced to 66% reactor power to perform turbine valve test. 'While at reduced load, "B" heater drain pump was taken out-of-service for maintenance. Upon completion of maintenance, unit was returned to full load.

CB PUMPXX Unit was shutdown to repair the No. 2 seal on "C" Reactor Coolant Pump. ,

Investigation revealed that there is a generic problem with the presently installed seal design. The 0-ring material is to hard and tends to cause the No. 2 seal to hang up periodically-
