Dear Mr. Maynard:

Thank you for your letter of March 26,1999, that provided an update on the status of your committed corrective actions to address our concerns identified during the Maintenance Rule baseline team inspection, which was conducted last year at Wolf Creek. You also informed us that you identified the necessity for a larger scope of review for the planned corrective actions br Violation 50-482/0805-05 and this requires extending the completion time to June 30,1999. This extension appears reasonable to us. We appreciate your efforts to j keep us informed and Eire pleased by the apparent ongoing improvement to your Maintenance i

' Rule program. Again, we will review the implementation of your corrective actions during a future inspection to determine that full compliance has been achieved and will be maintained.
