RETRACTION OF DUPLICATE NONCITED VIOLATION
Dear Mr. Maynard:
Licensee Event Report 50-482/97-016, Revisions 00,01, and 02, was reviewed and closed in NRC inspection Report 50-482/98-12. This issue, the use of fire system pumps for l
nonfire system related purposes which degraded the fire protection system, was identified as an example of a noncited violation,50-482/9812-11. The same licensee event report was subsequently addressed in NRC Inspection Report 50-482/98-17, and a second noncited violation,50-482/9817-03,' was issued for the same violation. The purpose of this letter is to retract the noncited violation issued in NRC Inspection Report 50-482/98-17.
