Dear Mr. Martin:

This letter is submitted in accordance with the requirements of Technical Specifications 3.14.2.3.b.2.

On January 17, 1988, 1158 hours0.0134 days <br />0.322 hours <br />0.00191 weeks <br />4.40619e-4 months <br />, the motor driven fire pump, the only OPERABLE fire pump at the time, was declared INOPERABLE.

The pump was repaired and returned to OPERABLE status on January 18, 1988, at 1005 hours0.0116 days <br />0.279 hours <br />0.00166 weeks <br />3.824025e-4 months <br />. Telephone notification as required by Technical Specification 3.14.2.3.b.1 was made at 1110 hours0.0128 days <br />0.308 hours <br />0.00184 weeks <br />4.22355e-4 months <br /> on January 18, 1988.
