He was named Manager of Production in 1972, Manager of Generation in 1973, and Vice President and Manager of Generation in 197h..Manager-Generation Onerations The Manager-Generation Operations has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer (Pa.).

He has eight years industrial experience in the design, tanufacture, testing, operation, and maintenance of packaged stea= boilers. He has six years experience in power plant design, operatien, and =aintenance at Met-Ed fessil fired stations. He has completed a one-nonth course in nuclear engineering at the University of Michigan. He was assigned to the Three Mile Island Project Office for three and one-half years during which time he participated in the review and approval of initial design concepts and equipment purchase specifications for both TMI 1 and 2.

He was assigned to the TMI Station Staff as Assistant Superintendent in 1971, as Superintendent in 1973, and was appointed Manager of Generation Operatiens in 197L.1;J7 2oi

. '. -Manager - Generation Engineering The Manager - Generation Engineering has a B.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and has attended the Naval Advanced Nuclear Power School, Bettis Laboratory Nuclear Power Plant School, and Illinois Institute of Technology.

He has served on the startup crew of and held various engineering positions, for the construction, testing, and operations of a nuclear-powered submarine.

He has 16 years of nuclear power experience, four of which is in experimental and research reactor engineering and eight of which it in commercial nuclear power production. He was formerly Plant Superintendent of a commercial nuclear power plant where he was responsible for startup, testing, and operation of the plant. He became Manager - Generation Engineering in 1973.

Manager - Operational Ouality Assurance The Manager-Operational Quality Assurance holds a B.S. degree in Physics and has completed part of the requirements for a law (JD) degree. He has attended the Navy Nuclear Power School and various industry courses related to manage-ment and nuclear science and engineering. His 23 years of experience include positions covering the Naval Nuclear Power Program, experimental and prototype reactors, and commercial nuclear power generation. He has previously held positions as a Reactor Operator, Laboratory and Nuclear Power School Instructor,~and Training Coordinator and Technical Assistant to the Plant Superintendent for a commercial nuclear power plant.

Manager - Generation Maintenance The Manager - Generation Maintenance has a B.S. in Marine Engineering and is a registered professional engineer (Pa.). He has over twenty-nine years of n i o7 nzv2 b

. ..experience in the operation, maintenance, and supervision of generating equipment including 14 years as Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent of Met-Ed fossil-fired stations. He was named Manager - Generation Maintenance in 1972 and is responsible for all nuclear and fossil generating station maintenance.

RESUMES OF CURRENT QUALITY ASSURANCE PERSONNEL Quality Assurance Engineer This Engineer has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and attended the U.S. Navy Electronics Technicial Class"A" and Nuclear Power Schools. He has two years of nuclear power experience as an instructor / operator at the S3G prototype and three years as an operator / supervisor aboard the USS Skate (SSN 578).

Supervisor - Ouality Control The Supervisor - Quality Control has a B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering.

He has four years experience in nuclear power, three of these at Saxton Nuclear Experimental Corp. where he was Supervisor-Reactor Plant Services and obtained an AEC Senior Reactor Operator's License. He was assigned to TMI Quality Control in 1972 where he participated in the formation of Met-Ed Quality Control Department. He has completed courses in Basic Radiological Health and Occupational Radiation Protection presented by the U.S. Department of Health Educaticn and Welf are and PWR Simulator Training given by Babcock and Wilcox Company.

Quality Control Assistant This Quality Control Assistant is a high school graduate with a total of five

His experience includes Quality Control of heavy metal fabrication of heat exchangers, steam generators, and othe nuclear components for power generating stations. He attained a level II non-destructive examination for liquid penetrant and magnetic partical examination. He has extensive knowledge of the ASME and ASTM codes on fabrication, welding, and material specification and has worked for contractors in receipt inspection of nuclear safety-related materials.

Quality Control Assistant This Quality Control Assistant is a high school graduate and attended the U. S. Navy Nuclear Power School. He was qualified as a Reactor Operator at the SIW Prototype and as Engineering Officer of the Watch aboard ship. During the construction phase of three Naval ships he supervised the acceptance of all electrical systems. He has many years of experience in nuclear power.

, Quality Control Assistart This Quality Control Assistant has an Associate Degree in Business Administra-tion and has completed two additional years of administrative courses. He has more than four and one half years of experience at Three Mile Island related to all phases of civil / structural problems which includes almost two years of civil / structural Quality Control work. He is a member of the American Concrete Institute and has attended an ACI seminar related to Quality Assurance of nuclear power plants relative to concrete.
