It is requested that the Senior Reactor Operator License, flo. 2426, for Melvin Perry Spease be renewed.

Mr. Spease has been actively engaged as a full-time Shif t Supervisor at this facility since September 1,1977; previously, he served as a Senior Reactor Operator. He has demonstrated above average performance in carrying out the responsibilities of a Senior Operator and in supervising the actions of the Reactor Operators.

There is a continuing need for this license, and he has successfully completed the MURR Operator Requalification Program.
