Request for additional time to respond.

Dear Sir:

We are continuing to work on the answers to the questions in your June 10, 1988 letter concerning our anplication dated September 12, 1986 for an amendment to the University of Missouri R-103 operating license. This amendment would authorize the use in our reactor of an extended life aluminide fuel (ELAF) element containing higher densities of uranium and a burnable poison. W3 are requesting a fourteen day extension in the time to respond to your questions.
