Dear Sir:

Enclosed is the reprinted edition of the Emergency Plan, dated _  !

D( ember 8,1989, which includes Revision'1 through 5. Please ,

destroy your orange bound copy as.it is now obsolete.

This reprinted edition of the Energency ~ Plan reflects several changes suggested by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspector .l during an Emergency Preparedness inspection September 26-28, 1989, and in the follow-up inspection letter dated October 11, 1989.  !

Two sentences were changed to clarify which off site organiza- ,

tions were to be notified after an emergency is classified. Refer- 8 i

ences to appropriate Reactor Emergency Procedures (REPS) were added to the Site Emergency Procedures (SEPs). An additional duty was added to the responsibilities of the Emergency Director, the duty to classify an emergency event. This duty had already been imple-mented in the Emergency Procedures, but was not stated in the Emergency Plan.
