Dear Mr. Denton:
As counsel for Omaha Public Power District, we hereby submit three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled " Application for Amendment of Operating License," together with forty (40) copies of.the proposed Technical Specifications. The application seeks to amend Sections 5.2.2, 5.6, 5.7, 5.9.2, Table 5.2-1, and Figure 5-2 of the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that License so as to incorporate administrative changes. These administrative' changes are required in order to achieve agreement between the Fort Calhoun Station Technical Specifications and new regulations, which become effective on January 1, 1984, and involve control room manning and reporting requirements. In addition, the application reflects the change for Quality Control personnel-reporting to the Technical Supervisor rather than the Maintenance Supervisor.
The proposed Amendment is deemed to be a Class II Amendment within the meaning of Section 170.22 of the regulations of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Accordingly, a check for g the appropriate fee of $1,200 is also enclosed. n 4 0$g
