Dear Mr. Denton:
As counsel for Omaha Public Power District, we hereby submit three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled " Application for Amendment of Operating License," together with forty (40) copies of the proposed _
Technical Specifications.
The application seeks to amend Table 2-6(a) and Table 3-7 of the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that License so as to update the surveillance capsule removal schedule.
This amendment also incorporates safety-related hydraulic and mechanical snubber changes that have occurred since the last Technical Specification amendment addressing snubber changes.
The proposed Amendment is deemed to be a Class III Amendment within the meaning of Section 170.22 of the regulations of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Accordingly, a check for the appropriata fee of $4,000 is also enclosed.
