Dear Mr. Denton:
As counsel for Omaha Public Power District ("OPPD"), we hereby submit three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled " Application for Amendment of Operating License," together with forty (40) copies of the proposed Technical Specifications (Attachment A) and the Discussion, Justification and No Significant Hazards Consideration (Attachment B).
The application seeks to amend Sections 2, 3, and 5 of the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that License to implement the recommendations of NRC Generic Letter 84-13, " Technical Specificatic 1s for Snubbers."
Pursuant to 10 C.F.R.
S 170.21, a check for the application fee of $150.00 accompanies this application.
OPPD requests that the amendment become effective 30 days from the date of issuance in order to permit it time to implement the new specifications.
A certificate showing service of these documents on the persons listed therein is also enclosed.
