Dear Mr. Denton:
As counsel for Omaha Public Power District, we hereby submit three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled " Application for Amendment of Operating License," together with forty (40) copies of the proposed Technical Specifications.
The application seeks to amend Sections 1.1, 1.3, 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.3, 2.10.2, and 2.10.4 and Tables 1-1, 2-2, 3-1, and 3-5 of the Technical Specifications i
set forth in Appendix A to that License.
These amendments would eliminate the requirement to inspect the fuel elements removed from the vessel each refueling and would update the Technical Specifications to be consistent with the Cycle 9 core reloau parameters.
I The proposed Amendment is deemed to be a Class III Amendment within the meaning of Section 170.22 of the regulations of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Accordingly, a check for the appropriate fee of $4,000 is also enclosed.
