Dear Mr. Denton:
As counsel for Omaha Public Power District ("OPPD"), we hereby submit three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled " Application for Amendment of Operating License," together with forty (40) copies of the proposed Technical Specifications.
The application seeks to amend Section 2 of the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that License to update the heatup and cooldown limit curves for the reactor vessel and associated primary coolant system beyond 8.5 EFPY through 15 EFPY.
Pursuant to 10 C.F.R.
$ 170.21, a check for the application fee of $150.00 accompanies this application.
OPPD requires approval of these specifications by August 1986 in order to ensure that adequate curves are available for continued opar*eion through the cycle without interruption.
A certificate showing service of these documents on the persons listed therein is also enclosed.
