Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-29                                  4 FEMA Region VI Final Report for Remedial Drills Conducted at GGNS Ref: MAEC-87/0003 AECN-87/0054 The referenced {{letter dated|date=January 2, 1987|text=letter dated January 2,1987}} from Mr. Roger D. Walker of your office transmitted to me the results of remedial drills conducted by the State of Louisiana for emergency preparedness activities for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS). The purpose of this letter is to confirm the completion of the one open deficiency for which System Energy Resources, Inc. (SERI) had action to resolve.
The deficiency concerned limitations of the primary dedicated hotline telephone system in the State Emergency Operations Center. The corrective action was to install a ringback capability on the State's telephone so that the State of Louisiana could ringback to GGNS and obtain additional information during the course of an emergency. SERI made arrangements with AT&T to modify the dedicated hotline telephone system to address this concern.
Louisiana Nuclear Energy Division and the Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness have stated in the attached letter (API-87/0226) that the ringback capability was installed on the dedicated hotline in their offices during the weeks of February 16, 1987 and February 23, 1987, respectively. As indicated, both terminals have been tested and are fully operational.
This completes SERI's action and closure of this item.

Dear Mr. Reyes:

SUBJECT:

Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-29 4 FEMA Region VI Final Report for Remedial Drills Conducted at GGNS Ref: MAEC-87/0003 AECN-87/0054 The referenced letter dated January 2,1987 from Mr.
