Ruth Reference (a) documented staff acceptance-with a number of caveats of Revision 8 of the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (0DCM) and in an Attachment addressed the staff concerns recorded in reference (a).

The Revision 10 ODCM for Hope Creek has been reviewed for us in its entirety by our- contractor, EG&G Idaho, Inc. Their discussion and comments are contained in their detailed letter evaluation SIM-30-89 accompanying reference (c)(enclosed). A number of points regarding the Hope Creek ODCM remain open, with the contractor suggesting ways in which the ODCM could be made more useful and more complete.
