Subject: EXAMINATION REPORT NO. 50-354/90-06 (OL)
During the week of March 19, 1990, the NRC administered examinations to employ-
ees of your company who had applied for licenses to operate the Hope Creek
Nuclear Generating Station.
At the conclusion of the examination, the examination questions and preliminary
findings were discussed with members of your staff as noted in the enclosed
report. Two out of the five applicants did not pass the examinations which
reflected inadequate preparation on the part of the facility licensee and the
candidates.
Specific weaknesses identified by the NRC are discussed in
Paragraph 2.0 of the enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
