RE: HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION Licensecs were required by Generic Letter 83-28. Item 2.1 (Part 2) to confirm that they have established an interface with either the NSSS or with the vendors of each of the components of their wactor Trip System. Public Service Electric and Gas Company has responded and our review, as documented in the enclosed SER, finds the responses to Generic Letter 83-28. Item 2.1 (Part

2) to be acceptable. O , therefore, consider Part 2 of item 2.1 to be closed.
