In Reference 1, the District committed to have the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) operational by July 31, 1986. This date was confirmed by an Order issued from the staff on August 29, 1985.
This letter is to inform you that the SPDS was declared operable on July 31, 1986 and that the confirmatory order commitment was raet. It should be noted that the power supply to the SPDS multiplexers is in a temporary con-figuration, and will be changed to a more reliable power supply in the near future. However, with its present power supply, the equipment passed its reliability criteria during the system verification and validation testing which included a 1000 hour0.0116 days <br />0.278 hours <br />0.00165 weeks <br />3.805e-4 months <br /> run test. The District considers that system reliability is demonstrated by these results and that the system is operable.
