Gentlemen:
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.201, attached is the Nebraska Public Power '
District's (District's) response to NRC Inspection Report 50-298/89 34, dated December 15, 1989. Therein you indicated that certain of our activities were in violation of NRC requirements.
As discussed between K. C. Walden (NPPD) and L. Constable (NRC Region IV) on December 26, 1989, this response is being submitted within the seven day extension authorized as a result of a delay in receiving the Inspection Report over the holidays.
The District requests, in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21, that the attachment be treated as safeguards information and withheld from public disclosure.
