Dear Mr. Horn:

By letter dated August 6,1998, you applied for an amendment to the Cooper Nuclear Station Operating License No. DPR-46. The proposed change would have revised the Updated Safety Analysis Report to reflect the as-built configuration of the reactor building isolation dampers.

Subsequently, by letter dated August 2,1999, you withdrew the amendment request.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
