STAFF REVIEW 0F THE SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 83-28, ITEM 4.3 As part of its submittal dated May 23, 1986, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) proposed Technical Specification (TS) changes for Sequoyah Units 1 and 2 in response to Generic Letters 83-28 and 85-09. The staff has reviewed that portion of the May 23, 1986, letter and has prepared a preliminary evaluation which is enclosed. Based on its review of the TVA information, the staff has concluded that there are several issues which must be addressed before its evaluation can be completed. A detailed discussion of these issues are contained in the enclosure.
