This refers to the inspection conducted on November 16-20,1998, at the Sequoyah facility.

l The enclosed report presents the results of this inspection.

1 Areas examined during the inspection were ide ntified ira the report. Within these areas, the ,

! inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, l interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress. The purpose of the i inspection was to determined whether activities authorized by the licensee were conducted safely and in accordance with NRC requirements.

. Within the scope of the inspection, violations or deviations were not identified. -

The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards information as defined by 10 CFR Part 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the I Atomic Energy Act 1954, as amended. Therefore, the material will ngt be placed in the Public Document Room.
