In the Matter of the ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79, to change the technical specifications of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 (enclosure 1). The proposed changes add a requirement to LCO 3.3.1.1 (unit 1) and LCO 3.3.1 (unit 2) technical specifications for operability of the new shunt trip attachment to the reactor trip breakers. These changes are based upon NRC requirements illustrated in Generic Letters 83-28 and 85-09. This change also incorporates relief of surveillance and outage times as allowed by Westinghouse Standard Technical Specifications for applicable reactor protection system instrumentation and engineered safety features manual actuation circuitry. The justification for the proposed technical specification changes is provided in enclosure 2. A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in enclosura 3.

Enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment application fee required by 10 CFR 170.12.
