The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Performance Indicator Program provides eight performance indicators for use by' NRC senior managers to monitor trends in the overall performance of individual nuclear power plants. These. indicators provide"an additional-view of operational performance to supplement that obtained _through' i
other.NRC programs. The purpose of this letter-is to-transmit to you the NRC performance indicators for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3 and sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 for'the first quarter of 1990.'I have also included Announcement.No. 200 on the use of perfornance indicators and the definitions of-the indicators, which are contained in each issue of the report.
You will routinely be sent a copy of future quarterly performance indicators for the Browns Ferry and Sequoyah units.
