Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-416 and 50-417 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-860.0/5890 Transmittal of Revised Pages to Physical Security Plan AECM-83/0116 Mississippi Power & Light Company (MP&L), for itself and on behalf of Middle South Energy, Inc. and South Mississippi Electric Power Association, herewith files, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.110(a), Revision 6 to the Physical Security Plan for the protection of the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Units 1 and

2. Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d)(1) and 10 CFR 9.5, this information should be considered confidential and withheld from public disclosure.

The enclosed revisions to the Physical Security Plan were approved by the MP&L Plant Safety Review Committee (PSRC) on January 26, 1983.

MP&L has evaluated this revision and determined that it does not decrease the effectiveness of the Physical Security Plan. This notification, prior to two months following implementation of the revision, is in compliance with 10 CFR 50.54(p).

l A copy of the revised replacement pages, description of the revisions, and instructions for insertion of replacement pages are enclosed in a separate package marked " SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION." Please destroy or return the pages of the Grand Gulf Security Plan replaced by this submittal and currently in your possession.
