On May 12, 1980, Mississippi Power & Light Company notified Mr. M. Hunt of your office of a Potentially Reportable Deficiency (PRD) at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) construction site.
The deficiency concerns GE Type SB-12 switches.
We have since determined this deficiency to be reportable with-in the meaning of 10CFR50.55(e). Details are described in the at-tached final report. We are evaluating the applicability of 10CFR21 and will submit a report upon completion.
