Dear Sir / Madam:

Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U. S. C. 552, I am requestirm copies of any and all reports of Nuclear Regulatory Commissien personnoi concerning defects in concrete made during April, May or June 1979, concerning the Marble Hill facility.

I am making this request on behalf of several individuals who are concerned about the safe construction and operation of that facility.

As you know, the act permits you to reduce or waive fees when the release of the information is considered as "primarily benefitting the public." I believe that this request fits that category and I, therefore, ask that you waive any fees.

If any or all of this request is denied, please cite the specific exemption which you think justifies your refusal to release the information, and inform me of the appeal procedures available to me under the Jaw.

I would appreciate your handling this request as quickly l as possible and I look forward to hearing from you within 10 l days, as the law stipulates. j l
