Dear Mr. Eisenhut:

The requirements of Generic Letter No. 83-28 are both generic and plant specific in nature. Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. (PSI) hereby requests an extension until April 1, 1984, for the submittal of the responses to both the generic and plant specific portions of the subject letter. This extension is requested in consideration of the projected fuel loading date of June, 1986, for Marble Hill Unit 1.

The extension would be utilized by PSI to incorporate the efforts underway on the generic requirements by the Westinghouse owners Group, Nuclear Utility Task Action Committee (NUTAC), and other utilities as appropriate.
