The November 25,1996 letter contained the following commitmen't for Millstone Unit No. 2:

B16044-1: NNECO, on behalf of Millstone Unit No. 2, intends to complete the actions requested in GL 96-01 by September 30,1997. The review effort will verify compliance to existing technical specifications. Millstone Unit No. 2's conversion to the Combustion Engineering ISTS has begun. Any new or revised procedures that result from the conversio 1 effort will be reviewed in accordance with GL 96-01.

LER 50-336/96-025-01 contained the following commitment for Millstone Unit No. 2:

/ 0 A review is on-going, which includes an assessment of TS surveillance requirements to address the concerns identified in Generic Letter 96-01.

This review will be performed by September 30,1997.- Our response to Generic Letter 96-01 will be revised to reflect this date.
