U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attention: Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 i Millstone Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 3 Revision of Commitment Made in Licensee Event Report (LER) 96-042-00 The purpose of this letter is to provide Northeast Nuclear Energy Company's
-(NNECO) revised plans for the implementation of a commitment made in LER 96-042-00. The LER stated that Procedure DC 10, " incorporation and implementation of License Amendments" will be revised to clarify the requirements and responsibilities for the implementation of license amendments.
NNECO has determined that DC 10 provides adequate requirements, responsibilities and guidance for the Millstone site; and that it is more appropriate to issue a Millstone Unit No. 3 Licensing instruction for implementation of license amendments. The revised commitment is provided in the Enclosure.
