Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 2 Docket No. 50-417 Construction Permit No. CPPR-119 Amendment No. 9 to Construction Permit Regarding Transfer of Activities to Entergy Operations, Inc.
Amendment Implementation AECM-90/2-002 Amendment No. 9, issued December 22, 1989, authorizes the transfer of control and performance of licensed activities for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 2 (Grand Gulf 2) from System Energy Resources, Inc. (SERI) to Entergy operations, Inc. (Entergy Operations). The conditions in the amendment were required to be implemented within 180 days of the date of issuance and upon the official transfer of responsibilities between SERI and Entergy Operations.
This letter is to inform you that SERI has received all necessary regulatory approvals to transfer performance of activities for Grand Gulf 2 to Entergy operations and all conditions in Amendment No. 9 to the Construction Permit have been implemented effective June 6, 1990. Attached is the acceptance form by l which Entergy Operations accepts responsibilities for Grand Gulf 2. !
