b As a result of the inspection conducted on September 15-18, 198!i, and in accor-dance with Section 206 of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 and its imple-menting regulation 10 CFR Part 21, the following violation was identified and categorized in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR Part 2, l Appendix C), 49 FR 8583 (March 8, 1984):
Section 21 of 10 CFR Part 21, dated January 1,1986, states, in part: "Each individual, corporation, partnership or other entity subject to the regulations in this part shall adopt appropriate procedures to provide for evaluating deviations or informing the licensee in order that the licensee may cause the
' deviation to be evaluated. . .."
Contrary to the above, Enerfab failed to adopt appropriate procedures to provide for the evaluation of deviations or the notification to the NRC if a defect exists. (86-01-01) .
This is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement VII).
