APPENDIX A The Amerace Corporation Control Products Division Docket No. 99900296/86-01 NOTICE OF VIOLATION As a result of the inspection conducted on August 25-29, 1986, and in accordance l with Section 206 of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 and its implementing regulation 10 CFR Part 21, the following violation was identified and categorized in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C), ,
49 FR 8583 (March 8,.1984): i Section 21.31 of 10 CFR Part 21 states: "Each individual, corporation, partner- l ship or other entity subject to the regulations in this part shall assure that each procurement document for a facility or a basic component issued by him, her or it on or after January 6,1978 specifies, when applicable that the provisions of 10 CFR Part 21 apply."
Contrary to the above, the Amerace Corporation failed to impose the provisions )
of 10 CFR Part 21 on the Control Products Corporation at Grafton, Wisconsin l during the time period of June 3,1985 - June 29,1986. Control Products Corporation manufactures three types of nuclear. grade Agastat relays for the Amerace Corporation (86-01-01).
This is a Severity Level V violation (Supplement VII).
