DELETION OF LOSS-0F-0FFSITE POWER (LOOP) TEXT Your letter of June 3,1987 provided technical arguments supporting the request to delete the LOOP test from the pre-operational testing which was reviewed and approved by the staff in the Safety Evaluation Report (SER)

NUREG-0781, April 1986. The staff has considered your arguments and concluded that the LOOP test should be conducted in accordance with the staff's SER, which was based on Section 14.2 of the FSAR extant in April 1986.
