OF PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS STATUS OF CONFIRMATORY ORDER MODIFYING LICENSE AND INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW DIRECTOR, SAFETY QUALITY CONCERNS PROGRAM
Dear Mr. Cottle:
This refers to the meeting conducted in the Region IV office on September 23,1999. This meeting related to the status of your activities to support the confirmatory order, dated June 9,1998, modifying your operating license and to introduce the new Director, Safety Quality Concerns Program.
The meeting was usefulin understanding where you and your staff are with regard to your commitments addressed in the confirmatory order and your schedule for continued implementation of the remaining commitments.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
