H OPERATIONS.

The plant entered October in Mode 3 with main turbine undergoing  !

!'t inspections / repairs. Mode 2 was entered at 0106 on October 6, 1990 and the-reactor was taken critical at 0152 on October 6, 1990.- l The - plant entered - Mode l ' at- 0341 on October 6, 1990 and the generator _was synchronized to the grid at 1207 on October 6, 1990.

The plantc reached.100% power at 2059 on October 6, 1990.

PlantEoperationicontinued at~ essentially 100% power unti'l 1150 on October J18, .1990,- when power was reduced .to obtain 100% max delta-T '

untilfdelta-T' limit questions could be resolved.

[ JPower operation was further, restricted by the Plant General Manager

'- toL98% at 1638 'on October 25, 1990 while investigating an-indicated reduction of E RCS ' flow. .The plant 1 operated at 98% power for the '

remainder,of.the month.
