Repairs are.being effected.
Extensive feedwater pipe thinning was discovered during ultrasonic examinations.
The cause is attributed to erosion / corrosion.
Numerous piping sections are being replaced..In addition,: crack-indications were discovered in the
'B' and

Thinning was also discovered.in the vicinity of the steam generator feed-rings where they fit into the feed piping.
Thei'A',
'B',
'C' and
'D' reducers will be replaced.
Because of these repairs, startup from the current refueling outage has been delayed until July 26, 1987.
Filling and venting of the Reactor Coolant System was completed on June 19.
Control rod cold drop testing was completed on June-26.
