The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 98 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-54 for the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station. This anendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated June 30, 1987, as supplemented October 3, December 23, 1987, January 11, 1988 and February 11, 1988.

(1) reducing the lower This limitsamendment of detection revised for liquidthe Technicaleffluents, radioactive Specifications by(:2) changing requirements to address hardware changes in the effluent systems, (3) clarifying certain existing requirements and (4) improving consistency with the Standard Technical Specifications.
