application because you determined that none are due since the change  !

While we do exempt from fees certain applications that have little or no safety signifi-cance, which are requested by the NRC to simplify or clarify the license or Technical Specifications for the convenience of the NRC, applications filed to comply with NRC rules, regulations and regulatory guides are i

not exempt from fees. Consequently, your March 4 application is not exempt from the requirements of 10 CFR 170.22.

i Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as the result of their ,

preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that a l Class II fee ($1,200) is appropriate sinct the changes are administrative or pro forma in nature. Therefore, you are requested to remit the sum of $1,200 to this office. If the ONRR's final review of your application reveals that this fee is not appropriete, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
