7. Description of Occurrence

. At approximately 2200 hours0.0255 days <br />0.611 hours <br />0.00364 weeks <br />8.371e-4 months <br /> on January 10, 1977 a trouble SLBIC alarm was indicated in the control room. An investigation revealed all four sensings lines were frozen and Pressure Switch PS2668B in

the Red Channel had actuated. At 2330 hours0.027 days <br />0.647 hours <br />0.00385 weeks <br />8.86565e-4 months <br /> on January 10, 1977, .

SLBIC was defeated in order to thaw out the sensing lines.

, After SLBIC was taken out of service the sensing lines were thawed. The insulation was then removed, heat tracing was applied to the lines, and the insulation was replaced.
