Analysis of Occurrence:

A surveillance was performed on Diesel Generator #2 which was proven operable, hence no hazard to the health and safety of the public.

Corrective Action:

The Engine Control Cabinet and exciter control cabinet were dried and the generator and cables were meggered for proper readings. A test was performed for proper operation and checked satisfactory. Diesel Generator

  1. 1 was ready for service at 1452 hours0.0168 days <br />0.403 hours <br />0.0024 weeks <br />5.52486e-4 months <br /> on November 23, 1976.

Before fire system is to be returned to service the isolation valve to the deluge valve will be shut to ensure sealing pressure and then reopened.
