May 1999 UNIT ONE l

The unit began the month operating at full power. At 0415 hours0.0048 days <br />0.115 hours <br />6.861772e-4 weeks <br />1.579075e-4 months <br /> on the twenty-eighth, power was reduced to 80% to perform planned maintenance on the ElB Feedwater Heater Level Controller. At 0851 hours0.00985 days <br />0.236 hours <br />0.00141 weeks <br />3.238055e-4 months <br /> that same day, power was increased to 85% to perform the monthly turbine throttle and governor valve testing.

1 ARer completion of the turbine testing, the unit returned to full power at 1233 hours0.0143 days <br />0.343 hours <br />0.00204 weeks <br />4.691565e-4 months <br /> that same day. The unit operated the remainder of the month at full power.

to ~95% power for quarterly Turbine Control Valve testing. The unit was returned to full power j

Note: There were no challenges to the primary system code safeties nor automatic actuations of the low temperature overpressure protection valves during this reporting period.
