Arkansas Nuclear One - Unit 2 Reportable Occurrence 50-368/82-001/0lT-0 l
Dear fir. Collins:
l At 0920 hours0.0106 days <br />0.256 hours <br />0.00152 weeks <br />3.5006e-4 months <br /> on January 7, 1982, a determination was made that. six (6) Reactor Coolant System (RCS) resistance temperature detectors (RTD's) did not meet the required response time of 6.0 seconds as per Technical Specifications (T.S.) Table 3.3-2 per T.S. 4.3.1.1.3 sur-veillance requirements.
The 6 RTD's which are inputs to the Core Protection Calculators (CPC's) affected all Reactor Protective System (RPS) Channels.
At 0940 hours0.0109 days <br />0.261 hours <br />0.00155 weeks <br />3.5767e-4 months <br /> on January 7, 1982, a shutdown was initiated per T.S.
3.0.3.
This occurrence was determined to be reportable per T.S. 6.9.1.8.e Further details will follow in Licensee Event Report (LER) 50-368/82-001/OlT-0. This occurrence is similar to LER 50-368/81-017/0lT-1.
