: 2) Letter (G03-83-704), G. C. Sorensen (Supply System) to G. W. Knighton (NRC), dated August 31, 1983 Please find enclosed, two (2) draft documents which were requested by NRC staff in the course of the environmental review of the subject project.
Our commitment to provide these reports was included in our response to staff question 291.23 which was attached to the Reference 1. This commitment was reiterated in the attachment to Reference 2.
The first document is a draft program for ecological studies which will be formally submitted to the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC), for review and concurrence, thirty (30) months prior to fuel i
load. We have had working-level discussions with EFSEC staff regarding l    this plan and do not anticipate substantial revisions of the program as i    drafted. The ecological monitoring plan is in the form of a partial attachment to the WNP-3 Site Certification Agreement issued by EFSEC.

i The second document is the draft final report of fish bioassays which were conducted under Condition G29 of the WNP-3 NPDES permit.              This report has received only internal review and is now, concurrent with this transmittal, being circulated for external peer review. At the
!    conclusion of that review it will be finalized for formal submittal to l      EFSEC.
