Page Two The _ Supply System continues to receive NRC Bulletins and Generic Letters that in many cases require an investigation of hardware and/or software and a response to the NRC. Since the Project has been placed in this extended construction delay and resources have been limited to only those necessary for preserving the assets, the Supply System, in most cases, has been sending letters to the NRC indicating that our response must be deferred until the resumption of construction activities. We believe that continuing to respond in this fashion is unnecessarily repetitious. Henceforth, by this letter, the Supply System is deferring responses to NRC Bulletins. and Generic Letters unless the NRC specifically requests that we respond for WNP-3 or the Supply System, in reviewing an NRC Bulletin or Generic Letter, determines that it is applicable to the ongoing preservation activities at WNP-3. The Supply System will reply to the outstanding NRC Bulletins and Generic Letters that require a response following resumption of cons.truction activities.
