j The Supply System has previously notified the 'NRC by - letters - GO3-90-069, dated May 11,1990, and GO3-91-073, dated May 13, 1991, of the changes ;o-the WNP-3 1
Preservation of Assets Program (WMC-051) identified through preservation experience and the

improved environment within the plant buildings.
In order to demonstrate the site's effort to adjust the program in accordance with preservation experience and the continued improvement in the building environments, the following notable l
changes have been made to the document:
i 1.
The Preservation Program was adjusted to reflect the installation of two desiccant type _
i dehumidifiers for controlling relative humidity within the Reactor-A'uxiliary/ReactorL Building superstructure. The use of dehumidifiers has allowed the Project to reduce its' dependence on temperature elevation' to control relative humidity.

The frequency of visual inspection of equipment and structures was reduced (Appendix A).

The use of supplemental heat in Category II environments was reduced (Appendix A).

The Corrosion Monitoring Program (CMP) walkdown frequency was aajusted from every 6 Months to annually (Appendix B).
5.
The frequency of performing instrument calibration checks on the Preservation Program Sample was extended to every 2 years (Appendix D).

Appendix E, Oil and Lubricant Analysis and Trendine Durine Plant Preservation, was l
issued as the fifth Appendix to WMC-051.
